The Alone No More Rescue Facility

In the shadow of the Superstitions, second chances take root

We purchased a property in Apache Junction, AZ, dedicated to establishing The ANM Rescue Facility— a safe haven for dogs awaiting their forever homes. This property is a sprawling canvas brimming with potential; our kennels and play-yards are underway, however, we cannot emphasize enough how crucial your assistance is in actualizing this heartfelt vision.

Your generous contributions have already been allocated towards the critical needs of new roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, turf, dog doors, fencing, pavement, drywall installations, and various indispensables. As permitting is underway, we continue to ask for support as we endeavor to complete the facility this year.

This ambitious endeavor is not feasible without the assistance of our community and your support is pivotal in enabling us to persist in our cause of safeguarding dogs who are at-risk of euthanasia and providing them with the promise of being ALONE NO MORE!

A unique building for a unique operation

For six years, our all‑volunteer team has connected loving fosters and forever homes through partnerships with our boarding network and devoted foster families. Thanks to the community’s trust and support, we’re bringing the ANM Facility to life—transforming a World War II–era building into a warm, purpose‑built home for dogs in need.

The main building will house most of our kennels and serve as the hub for laundry, food prep, and quiet rest areas where dogs can feel safe, cared for, and ready for their next happy chapter. Each kennel will open to a private, secure yard so every dog can access fresh air whenever they want.

Future projects include:

  • ANM Senior Sanctuary: A pre‑existing structure will be converted into a calm, comfortable home specifically for senior dogs. Often overlooked for adoption, seniors will benefit from an upgraded facility equipped with orthopedic beds and other age‑appropriate accommodations.

  • Intake and Isolation Ward: A separate, fully sanitized space is essential to protect the health and safety of all dogs in our care. This dedicated ward will ensure sick or newly arrived dogs receive the specialized attention they need without risking others.

Together with our volunteers, fosters, and supporters, we’re building a compassionate, functional space that improves the lives of every dog who comes through our doors.
